Hudson had appeared in five games for Austin of the NBA Development League this season and averaged 17.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists. Selected by Boston in the second round of the 2009 draft, Hudson played 25 games for the Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies during his rookie season and appeared in 11 games last season for Washington. The Cavs revealed the news on Tuesday, saying that Gibson underwent an MRI and examination from Dr. Richard Parker at the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Sports Health that exposed the damage.
